Subject: Cove's Nameless Newsletter, Issue #1
Welcome to the inaugural issue of the as-yet-untitled newsletter from your friendly neighbourhood band, Cove!
Since we've been pretty busy lately, we thought the occasional electronic dispatch might help us keep in touch a little better. This newsletter will regularly arrive in your mailbox chock full of useful information like concert dates, special fan deals, lots of band gossip (remember when the drummer's hair was *green*?), and other assorted bits of fun!
NOTE: if you have received this email in error, please accept our apologies and fire off an angry message to matt@coveworld.net - you will be removed immediately. On the other hand, if you have neighbours, friends, or enemies who might be interested in learning more about Cove, you can also send Matt their email addresses. Thanks.
So, again, welcome! Without further ado...

* YE OLDE WEB PAGE
Okay, so Cove webmaster Matt hasn't exactly been doing his job lately -
some of you may have noticed signs of wear and tear appearing on our
tired ol' coveworld.net website. Have no fear, a drastic redesign is
underway, and should be up shortly! Matt promised! So keep those browsers
tuned to www.coveworld.net/cove/ so you can be the first on your block to
see the new page...
* COVE CARES. REALLY.
We want to know about your birthday. Like, what day it is.
It's for a secret project of ours...we promise not to sell it to
birthday.com (??) for a million dollars or anything - you don't even
have to tell us the year if you're embarrassed about how young you are!
So send those birthdays to matt@coveworld.net. Trust us. ;)
* COVE - COMING SOON TO A VENUE NEAR YOU!
Cove is planning to do some touring in August 2000, and you can help!
Want to see Cove live? Don't want to come to Edmonton? Help us out by
sending us information on venues and contacts in your city or town and
we just might make it out to say hello (and maybe play some tunes).
That's it for this issue...take care everyone, and hope to hear from you soon!
Sincerely,
-Netmeister Matt and the rest of the Cove Gang
