Johnny
spent the first eighteen years of his life being his own favorite person.
That finally changed during the fall of his freshman year at Northwestern,
when he met a beautiful, funny, vivacious girl named Beverly Cheng. She
took a while to warm up to him, but Johnny's persistence eventually won
her over. Read all about Johnny's fun-loving
sweetie below, and be sure to check her website
for daily doses of her procrastination-fueled thoughts!

Description: |
What is this,
a matchmaking site? ::Amusedly suspicious:: I have your standard Asian
girl build: 5'4", 115 lbs, black hair with reddish highlights,
brown eyes (yes, I wear contacts, same prescription as Johnny, aww).
Some people claim I look like Michelle Kwan, though her nose is larger.
I have on two occasions been compared to Lucy Liu. I know, those people
must be blind or something, but please let me indulge myself. |

Things
that make her happy: |
|
| |
Anything that
gives me compliments makes me happy. Honestly? Doing arts and crafts,
reading, or cuddling up in my comforter on a rainy day (all three
of those have to take place on a rainy day) make me happiest. Or being
with those I love will always make me happy, too. |

Beverly
on love: |
|
| |
I have an
idealized vision of romance, tempered with some reality. I go forth
being very optimistic, thinking that two people who are in love
should be able to work anything out -- differences in religion,
political viewpoints, and/or distance. I think it is a mortal sin
to give up something that could be great and take the "easy
way out," but that's my outlook for almost all things in life.
I also think that fate plays a big part in romance -- you need to
have enough fate between two people for them to stay together forever.
I also think that although you can have lots of fun on boisterous
dates, you get to know a person through little moments. When I look
back on my relationships, the moments I treasure most took place
during mundane times. |

She is
proud of: |
|
| |
The way my life
has worked out thus far. It may seem like it all just fell in my lap,
but I worked hard for it. |

Embarassing

|
| |
Uh ... you can
email me to ask me that. None of them are publishable. |
|
| |
She tries
to find meaning in life by: |
|
| |
Working hard
and writing journal
entries to find out what I really think. I also think that the
purpose of life is to leave behind an awesome next generation. |
