During Happy Fun World's first five years, Johnny O'Neal fans were lucky to see an update once every six months. More often, the wait between updates was a matter of years. The fact is, I'm just too lazy to screw with the HTML more often than that, and I don't quite have the technical knowhow to set up a better system. Left to my own devices, I would only post during the biggest of big events, making Happy Fun World a one-time amusement rather than a reliable source of fresh entertainment.

But wait, what's that I see? Why, it's the blogging revolution, swooping in to rescue me from the perils of static homepage content! Everyone and their little sister has a weblog these days, and its well past time for me to join the throngs. So here it is:

I even promise not to update with horrible poetry or every little detail of my life. I will try to update it somewhat regularly, though. This way, by pretending it's a part of Happy Fun World, I'll feel that I've finally created the dynamic-content website I've always dreamed of having.
