One of the three gators we saw down in the swamp this particular day, and the youngest of the bunch. This one was about 18 inches long, and it was probably a little less than a year old. Their patterning goes away once they get a little bigger than this. We saw another that was about 4 feet or so, and another that was about 6 but they didn't pose for pictures very well.
