Daphne is another buff-crested bustard, and the half sister to the previous one. At the moment she's sitting on an egg, but since she has no access to any males it's infertile. When we don't want birds to lay eggs, we leave anything they lay, or replace it with a dummy egg if it's prone to getting broken. The dummy eggs we use are real eggs from that species that have been blown and refilled with resin.
