While Maintenance Man might not be the flashiest or most impressive member of Team Johnny, he is certainly its noblest and, perhaps, its most admirable. You see, there was a time when Team Johnny was lazy. Each member had his redeeming attributes, but all were loathe to perform any sort of physical labor. When fate presented the Team with a summer job at The Assembly in 1996, Maintenance Man emerged to confront the challenge. Under the tutelage of employer Jim Buzzell and partner Zach Evans, Maintenance Man became a force to be reckoned with.
Dedicated and hardworking, Maintenance Man loves nothing more than to whack some weeds or clear a path through the woods. He may not look strong, but he's been seen matching the work of a man twice his size. Weeds and untrimmed grass may find him merciless, but he's always kind to children and animals. He enjoys powerful tools, backwards foosball, and lectures on the joys of Maintenance work.
In his years of work for The Assembly, Maintenance Man has spread many woodchips, lined many trashcans, and buried much unsightly flotsam. In the future, he may seek his fortune in more urban environments, but his work ethic and dignity will continue to serve Team Johnny well.
